A Medical Facial, also referred to as a medi-facial, is a customized, multi-treatment facial that is performed by an esthetician with medical supervision. Medical Facials utilize medical-grade products and tools to improve the clinical health of your skin. It typically includes an advanced skin analysis, deep cleansing, exfoliation, and specific, targeted treatments.
At New Life Aesthetics, a Medical Facial uses only private-label medical grade-products, as well as high frequency and galvanic current to customize each facial for every skin type and goal.
Our Medical Facials at New Life Aesthetics are administered by Natalie Walcott, our aesthetic assistant and esthetician who not only understands the skin but is also trained in advanced skin care. Natalie can even work with your dermatologist (if necessary) to customize and facilitate an effective treatment plan designed for the unique skin found only on your face.

Before your treatment session, we will spend time reviewing your medical conditions and any medications you’re taking, as well as answering any particular questions you may have. Your appointment will last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour plus.
If you have a history of recent or currently active skin infection or injury, your treatment will be scheduled once the skin barrier has healed.
Medical Facials can be contraindicated if you have a history of multiple severe allergies or severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), or if you are allergic to any of the substances found in our products. We can, however, customize the products we use to avoid triggering allergic reactions.
Tell us if you are using medications that may prolong bleeding (e.g., blood thinners, ibuprofen or aspirin). Talk to our licensed team of providers about all safety issues that may impact your treatment.
You can return to most normal daily activities immediately after your Medical Facial – unless your specific treatments indicate otherwise. Minimize exposure to extensive sun or heat within the first 24 hours after treatment. It is also best to avoid applying makeup or skincare products, or rubbing or massaging the area treated, until the next day. Proper sun protection is recommended. Refer to any pre- and post-care instructions provided specifically for you.
